Lavandin Grosso essential oil is closely related to Lavender and shares Lavender’s beautiful scent and therapeutic qualities. Lavandin Grosso, however, has a slightly less floral and more camphoraceous aroma than Lavender. Lavandin’s therapeutic applications are not as beneficial as Lavendar’s and it is mainly used in soaps and perfumes. Lavandin is still an effective antiseptic and is wonderful for colds, muscle pain, sinusitis and respiratory ailments. It is a cost-effective alternative to the more expensive Lavender and can be used in Lavender’s stead in a variety of oil blends.
