Instructions for Heating
For the first use: Soak the compress in hot or boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Next, steam the compress in a steamer for 5-20 minutes. Alternatively, place in the microwave for a minute or two to heat to desired temperature.
For subsequent uses: Moisten the compress bag with water and steam it in a steamer for 5-20 minutes or place in the microwave for a minute or two.

Storage Method
When not in use, allow the compress to air dry and then place in a tightly sealed container.
Shelf Life
The compress ball will keep up to 15 months after its first use. The balls can be used up to 10 times each.
Caution
Be careful when handling the compress; steam can get very hot.
Always test the compress on forearm before using on the body.
Keep in mind that people’s heat tolerances vary especially the young and elderly.
Do not microwave the compress when it is completely dry or it will burn.
Do not heat compresses in the oven.
