Bergamot essential oil is extracted from rind of the bergamot tree’s fruit by expression. In addition to giving off a pleasant, sweet and citrusy scent—it is often used in the manufacture of perfume—Bergamot essential oil has many therapeutic benefits. It helps one’s skin, treating acne, psoriasis, eczema, cold sores and other conditions. It has emotional benefits—it is used to treat depression, seasonal affective disorder, tension, and more. Additionally, it has health benefits, stimulating the heart, liver, and spleen.
Caution:
Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight after using bergamot oil. It can cause skin to become burned especially in those with sensitive skin.
Blending:
Bergamot essential oil blends particularly well with black pepper, clary sage, cypress, frankincense, geranium, jasmine, mandarin, nutmeg, orange, rosemary, sandalwood, vetiver and ylang-ylang.

1-9:            $9.90 per gallon  

10-29:        $6.90 per gallon   

30-54:        $4.90 per gallon   

55 or more: $2.90 per gallon
